fly n ride from Austin TX to Knoxville TN

Looks like I will be doing a fly n ride to pick up a fellow inmates KTM 950 Adventure in Austin on Wednesday this week.

Going to be making my way back to East Tennessee through Baton Rouge then up the Natchez trace parkway.

Wanted to know if there was any "must see / must ride" areas or roads I should visit. Especially between Austin and Baton Rouge.

Absolutely hate riding Interstates and would even consider some gravel if its not to far out of the way.

Well, I love Bayou areas in LA. Fausse Point State Park is one of my favorites. Also love the towns of New Iberia, St. Martinville and Breaux Bridge. Great food to be had there.

I love New Orleans, too, but that's kinda out of the way.

Enjoy the ride!

Somewhere along in there is the site of Bonnie and Clyde's final shootout. There's a roadside marker and a little museum in the town. Or maybe it's in northern LA. I forget.

Thanks guys! I will check the maps and see what I can fit in.
Was planning a quick ride home but with the weather looking crappy I may take an extra day and let the rain pass. Hopefully that will allow for s bit more exploration.
I've never had the chance to ride in LA or eastern Texas.
Can't wait!!
