Todays Meal

First ...... Congrats Guy. Nothing better than a proud Papa.

My brother shows up for dinner today. Said he has some Tuna from yesterdays catch. Here is what he brought. Found out it was only 1/4 of a 250 lb Blue Fin. Hmmmmmm Good.

Ditto to Guy.

I'm in for the ride tomorrow.

"...how bout the BP at Genito and Old Hundred say 8:30?"

I am having trouble with the above referenced meeting spot. I don't see Old Hundred and Genito coming together. Are we talking about Uppy's Convenience Store at the corner of Woolridge Rd and Fountain View Dr??

That's it.. Old Hundred has a screwy break in it. From 360 north to genito it's old hundred, then for a half mile it's Charter Colony, then it picks up as old Hundred if you turn west at that intersection.

In for the ride tomorrow? Maybe

Joe is all fired up and ready to ride again, but I don't know if he is ready for this group. He's only got 100 miles experience, and this crowd is getting kind of big for me. Two to four riders is good for a group ride, but any more than that and I'm just not comfortable. Besides, Joe and I will be doing EXACTLY the speed limit for a long time. Big group rides can be difficult for newbie riders, especially with the group dynamics and the accordion effects. Not sure he's ready for that yet.

Oh well, we can all meet and see where it goes. I would like to take him up Alhambra and see how he does. Right now his XRL has Pirelli Scorpions and they are not a good DS tire. Guess we'll see.

See y'all at 0830.
