You are right of course, and well said. My patience on this subject could fill a thimble, and the bias, preferential treatment and BS I see every day at work when it comes to French language requirements spills out from time to time. I will try and keep it in check.

As to non-Canadians speaking to this, well, you know nothing about it. My comments could be just enough to cause separation, because logic and reason are clearly not part of the discussion.

What you wrote is completly stupid, and racist.
I'm not native from Quebec, not even from Canada... but reading what you wrote I understand why some of them want to be independant.
Fortunately, most of the people in Ontario are not like this, every one I met so far are not like this

Plonk!
Well said Eric

Sorry we missed the lunch, Bob. It was such a nice day that we ended up going to Centennial Lake road, Griffith, 41, Opeongo road and Foymount, etc.

Weekend total so far is about 650 kms.

It warmed up so early today that we managed to do the ride we'd planned for yesterday! Fabulous up in Renfrew county. Just a gorgeous day.

Only found sand on Centennial Lake road, especially near Griffith, and in a couple of spots on the Opeongo.

There is quite a bit of salt on Dwyer Hill road but in general the roads are in good shape for late March.

Got out for a little spin today as well, after putting the new probend handguards and a rad guard on the 690. First time to ride with MX style boots...yikes! Left a fear rear tire skid marks on the road. It'll take some getting used to and some lever adjustment. Also for some strange reason i bought a new MX helmet. I have a helmet, don't know what I was thinking just caught up in the getting new stuff at the bike shop.

Got out yesterday on the Vstrom. Little spin on the backroads from Almonte to Perth to pick up a few odds and ends at Woodys. First ride on the Vstrom with the Metzler Karoos.......surprisingly smooth and quiet.

Thought I would poke my nose in here and introduce myself.

Wife and I moved here from Vancouver last October. Can't say I've ever experienced a worse winter than I've seen in a long long time! Is it over now? Please...tell me it's over!

We sold our bikes before we left the Left Coast and are looking at picking up some new bikes and getting out there discovering some of the routes in the area. I have my eye on a couple XR650's and my wife is trying to find a DR650.

Looking forward to meeting some of you fine folks out there on the trails this summer :)
