grats to all these new owners

Got my windscreen mounted yesterday. Took a bit of pressure off my chest, but thankfully did not send any dirty air to my helmet. So tired of bad aero noise from poorly designed fairings on other bikes I've ridden.

Plan to get my Wolfman racks mounted Monday. Wife says no working on bikes today. Today we ride.

It's still winter in the middle of Sweden and the ice on the lake is about 2 feet thick.

Kalevi and I drove about 20 miles on some frozen snowmobile tracks.

The snow on the ice is about 8 inches thick, but we could drive on it anyways.

Thanks. I picked mine up last week. Three days later I got a call - my knee surgery was pulled ahead. Now there's no riding until the doc says it's OK. I hobble out the garage about once a day a look at it. Oh well.

Rear Tail light

Anyone know the KTM part number to eliminate the huge rear tail light with the more compact version? Thanks

At least this is what I purchased a few years ago..from what I remember the carrier is not drilled for turn signals, you will need to make holes appropriate for what you want to mount.

Just to mix up the photos of all the nice new ones, I had a bit of a spill a few days ago while greenlaning :(

My ambition was found wanting on a muddy rutted track. Missed landing on a fence by inches. Suffering from aches and pains but luckily not much else.

bruceca2002 - check eBay as well. An ADVer was selling the tail with a different LED light with down faced white light for the US folks. Also, it was wired for the US bikes. There's some minor differences between the tail end of the Euro spec harness and the US one - as the US one just uses the brake light as a plate light, while the Euro one has a separate light.

Never fun when a bike goes down, though riding in the dirt, it's going to happen. Glad you're ok.

Here's one that comes with a LED taillight and you can also order it with integrated turn signals. http://www.ebay.com/itm/KTM-EXC-XC-M...7e2120&vxp=mtr

The one with the integrated turn signals is due in in mid April but if you send paul an ebay message he'll put you on the waiting list.
