We sold our bikes before we left the Left Coast and are looking at picking up some new bikes and getting out there discovering some of the routes in the area. I have my eye on a couple XR650's and my wife is trying to find a DR650.

Looking forward to meeting some of you fine folks out there on the trails this summer :)
Welcome! And yes this winter sucked! To bad you didn't move here a year earlier, we didn't have a winter last year. And last March with temps in the high 20's we were already riding the trails!

Welcome to the area!

Plenty of places to explore and ride. "They" are predicting a warm, dry summer, so that should make up for this past winter.

They need to be pumped out every two years. Any questions pm me, I used to live there, parents still do.

The paperwork said the system was inspected and fine and it was pumped out last year for $220.

If that's the only issues we should be good then.

Thanks!

Couple of nice BMW F twins for sale in the Flea Market:

F650GS

F800GS

Gonna hate to see them go but we hardly use them now that we have the Suzuki DR650s.

Aside from the weather, we moved in the right direction! Not possible to afford buying a house in Vancouver. Dont quite have 1.4 million for a small bungalow. Moved to Ottawa and have bought a house within 4 months.

I don't want to scare you too much but this picture was taken May 31, 2009, on a Dual Sport Ride near Calabogie.

Yes, the temperature really was +3C at 11:56 AM that day.

Here we are having so much fun...
