That funny about the Dragon in the rain. Three different groups of us did it in the wet? I rode it on my Transalp on a Sunday with TKC80s mounted up. I was slow, but hardly anybody was there. Just a couple of other tourists and some hardcore locals. I made the run in on direction and never caught anybody (no surprise there) and wasn't caught by anybody. Well, I did catch two cars, but they pulled over and waved me past.

Can't wait to get out and a do some more exploring. Other than the $6.28 a gallon for gas in the park had a ball.

In other news with the rain today in Hamilton County ( 3.92) should be some decent riding this weekend. Let's get something going.

A post for SOG...not that these are the tires you use but I put these Pilot Road 3 Trails on my GS right before moving from Texas. They have been from TX to NJ down to Key West and back plus riding around here all summer/winter. Probably approaching 9k on the rear. Looking decent. Definitely worth a look if you are taking a long ROAD trip.

Edit - these things are the cats ass in the wet.

Jason. I have been using Pilot Road 2's and 3's on my little Harley. Vastly superior to OEM. Love them. You are probably right about the Road Trails for a cross-country trip.

David, Good to hear from you. I too was sad not to see you at the last campout. Looking forward to seeing your new bike.

But a question, how can you go 2 months without internet?
