I think the ones that are double listed now are doing a combo thingy.

I noticed quite late that you moved your trip up to May and considered moving our annual Maytrip to june or something, but we really didn't want to wait for June, nor did the people that were allready counting on us doing this in May.

And as you have a waiting list, this might just be a good thing instead of a shame, perhaps you can let them know that there is an alternative (if they have 2 weeks time and Portugal is not too far).

It would be a shame that with 2 similar events there's still people waiting to get the happy news that they have a spring trip to look forward to.

Hi Rose,

No problem, it's really our fault by bringing the trip forward two weeks because of other commitments and we didn't anticipate the clash of dates. It's a shame for those who are lucky enough to have loads of time off and could have done both trips as per last year.

Love to come on your ride, maybe next year, although we should perhaps talk about dates in advance!

I actually wanted to do both last year, but didn't have enough hollidays and then this year because of my knee surgery we weren't sure we were doing anything in May for a long time, by the time I got a green light from the doctor we thought of making it easy on ourselves and join your trip instead of doing a wyoa, but just over the same weekend we were discussing that, your list closed and I knew a few more people were also still counting on a trip in May, so this is the result

Yes this isn't run along WYOA lines so there is a limit to numbers. At one point there was a risk of being oversubscribed so, unfortunately, I had to close the list. With a few dropping out we've ended up with 26 which is just about right.

If you are planning something similar next year perhaps we should try and arrange dates in advance. As I said I'd like to do the WYOA trip as well.

Hi Magnon,
At the risk of getting a reputation for dropping out Im not going to be able to make it again this year – I hope not too late for someone on the reserve list to step in – I will PM you explaining.

Saw your photos on the Devon site and it did look a bit wet.

It's been a very wet winter here as well but we did have a great few days trail riding at the beginning of March, just luck of the draw although I'm sure we'll have nice weather in May

I need to confirm numbers for Dinner, Camping and Breakfast for Sunday night 12th and Friday 17th. The price is 34 per person per night. I have booked for 26 with one veggie menu.

You only need to let me know if you are NOT going to be there or if you need a veggie menu.

If your plans aren't firm for the Friday you will be able to change before we set off on Monday.

The campsite want to know by this Sunday.
