Seat foam and cover look like they were professionally done. $175 + shipping.

WTB-Front motor mount bolt

In need of a front motor mount bolt for my R90/6. The fiche shows the length as 306mm, but the 298mm from later models will work too. Don't need nuts. What I don't want to do is spend $24 plus shipping for a new one. Can somebody help a brother out?

They are the same. 77 0n is a different cover.

looking for R100 engine, cylinders, heads

Anyone have a R100 engine, heads and cylinders in good condition available? I might need them in NYC as my 1984 R80RT engine case got e'ffed up a bit and I need the top end work anyways so one idea is upgrading to an R100 setup and selling the R80 setup for parts.

R100GS as featured in City Bike for sale

1992 BMW R100GS
This is a pretty unique BMW R100 GS.

It began as a stock 1992 GS, and was built up for a Silicon Valley executive for Adventure travel by the owner , Kari Prager, and the head tech, Eli Olhausen, of California BMW Triumph in Mountain View, CA. It went from 520 pounds originally, to 395. Featured in City Bike magazine, July 1996 issue, the principal work orders for the bike totaled $15,177.57 (copy will come with the bike). The other, smaller work orders will also go with the bike. Not including the bike, the original owner invested almost $20,000. I bought it in 2008 to ride up to Canada and through Central America, but that didnít happen, and now Iíve got back issues.

Suspension and brakes:
The forks are Marzocchi Magnums, mounted in a much stronger Schalber triple clamp from Germany. The rear suspension is Ohlins. The suspension was tuned in by Lindemann. It uses a KTM wheel and a billet caliper up front, and on the rear, the brake linkage has been beefed up, and the shock mount on the final drive is double-bolted using German parts.

Engine & Drivetrain:
The engine was dual-plugged, and the pistons and rods were balanced, and the transmission incorporates the common European modification of lowering first, and raising fifth, gear. The exhaust is a Staintune.
Other:
Comes with both original subframe, dual seat and bag mounts, as well as a Schalber seat and subframe set up for a single off-road rider. The warning lights are BMW Mystic. The fenders are Acerbis, sourced through Schalber, as is the headlight/shroud. The frame was powder-coated at a cost of $799.80. Uses a GPS-driven speedometer.

Documentation:
Comes with the City Bike article, as well as Ohlins manual copy, German GS repair manual, and over an inch stack of receipts. Mileage information cannot be given, since the bike doesnít have an odometer on it. Clear Colorado title in my name.
Location:
The bike is located in Durango, CO, served by USAir, United and American. Durango is about 3 h from Santa Fe and 5 h from Denver.

Price: Asking $9,000.

You might want to adjust your settings. Using a black font on a black background renders posts almost unreadable.
Just sayin...

Then again, black backgrounds on websites should be banned but they seem popular for some reason.
