Klim Gear - Europe

Hey!

I'm looking to buy a Klim Badlands Pro suit, but prices in europe seem to be quite alot higher then in the US. Also all the vendors I've found are selling the set for around 1650 (compared to US 1250 ).

If someone know a shop that sells them for less please pm me :)

Also the supply of Klim gear seem really bad in Europe compared to the US, anyone know of a shop with good stock?

I would order straight from the united states if I were you. Chances are the european shops wont have stock either and you will have to wait anyway.

How about www.adventure-spec.com

They sponsored member Pyndon on the Dakar this year.

Problem is that If I order from the states Ill likely have to pay toll and tax for it, which puts me above the cost of ordering it from inside the EU.

Yeah seen Adventure-Spec, they seem to have a good stock but their prices are just the same as the rest of EU.

Try this fella from Greece. He runs an ebay shop and occasionally has Klim gear for sale very cheaply

which is why it looks as though it's cheaper in the US... the Eu importers have to pay tax too.

If you buy grey market you won't have the guarantee, which I've had honoured by Adventure Spec on 2 year old kit. Just stump up if you want it.

Just heard from two reputable sources that Klim have been bought out by Polaris (owners of the Victory cruiser brand plus possibly Rotax etc) and that a 15-25% price is on the immediate horizon, i.e. Traverse jackets will be 300+ in the next week or two.

As much as I like Klim, there comes a point when they'll price themsleves out of the market.

If you're looking to buy, then I'd buy now.

Did you try this? A belgian friend of mine started this shop a few years ago. He imports Klim too. And loads of other stuff.

www.motoadventurestore.be

Price for jacket and trousers is 1600 euro, according to his site.

Sad but true, I've already seen the price increases take effect on the websites of several UK Klim vendors.
