The bike has only done 8748kms since new. I have registration papers to prove it. I have also found out that it is the only registered DR800 in Western Australia. I want $6000 for it so if you're in Perth or W.A. and you want to check it out let me know.
Cheers.
I chickened out of selling it. It hardly gets ridden but I realised that if I get rid of it, I'll never get another one. SO, it's staying in the workshop.
Cheers.

Robmoto, you was my inspiration... thanks to you.

Thanks Mait... and a secret... I like more the original design too!!!! But now I haven't money for another bike... and I NEEDED another bike, another illusion. Well, now I have a different, unique, bike... MY bike.
And is a DR ...

Miguel

Finished!!! Suzuki DR 750 Garbí

There have been some very nice customised DR750's and DR800's shown on the site over the years but my favourite is this one.

Cheers.

I have three different rebuild kits in stock for these carbs, one for the '88-'89 DR750 & '90 DR800, one for the '91-'96 DR800, and one for the '97 DR800.
That's very impressive considering how few of these bikes are in the States. I've got a rebuild in my future for the 93 DR800 I'm re-building. I'll give you a call when I get to that point, Thanks

GN....rebuild kits vary with price and availability. Finish your profile or let us know what part of the world your in and the local guys will likely jump in to assist.

too many sharp edges for my liking. would be good for slicing and dicing pedestrians and the local wildlife

It may not be functional for off road riding as it's obviously been built for the road. It's the concept, the detail and the work that has gone into it that you have to appreciate. I think it's incredible!
Cheers.

when in doubt, I get my parts from: http://www.wemoto.com/
parts shipped in approx 3days to france.

so I guess it should be the same to italy :)

I had a "pissing" carb problem caused by the O'rings gone square...
I've bought a wallet full of O'rings, around 400 O'rings in all "standard metric sizes" for 20 euros.
They are not rated "fuel approved" though, but for the price, so far so good.

HTH,
MrPopples.

Pulled up here at the Wollandilly River, the side curb makes for a good seat.
