AlpineStars Tech3 boots, size 10, seem to fit. Tried them on today at Cycle Gear. $219

Also tried on the Fox Comp5 boots -$189

Your thoughts? Talk amongst yourselves.....

First thought I had and then talked amongst myself about was to check your shifter adjustment before you head out on your first ride after you buy either pair. And then I thought for that small bit of price difference I'd get the AStars.

Well at least your foot isn't too sore to try on MX boots.

I like my Tech 3's. Not fun to walk in and shifting takes on a new dimension but otherwise a lot of bang fer da buck....and $219 is the same price as MC Superstore.

You get used to moving your leg a little when you shift.

The stiff sole makes them hard to walk in, but that's also what keeps your foot from being folded in half.

Tech 3's

....and this is how much Michelle loves me - she says I should get them immediately - before I get on the KLR again! Now that, my friends, is love.

...well, that and she doesn't want to hear me bitchin about my sore foot anymore....

Some of these badass dirt riders can use the back of their boot to shift (when appropriate).

I usually position my shift lever up one spline/knotch and do it dirt bike style....

You know, like when you have your feet up on the highway pegs.

alpinestars t3... from 79. http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydire...irt%20products

my second ^^^^ pair for 99.
My first pair 210.

Switching gears, walking and braking (like Tom said) is a new experience. You'll do good to raise your foot controls a bit.

They got size 6,7 - 13, 14, 15.
That's the problem with closeouts - they got big and small, nothing that fits my average size foot
Thanks for looking!
