Wausau area M & G / Rides ???

I'm so in for this. Will be back in town 4/20/13. Hope I can catch it...

Flat land and german engineering roads means straight stretches and square corners in the central WI area. Seems you gotta go over an hour in any direction just to get curves or trails. Anyone got ideas / locations for a watering hole off the main drag? How about some ride suggestions???

Anyone else think they might join in??? Dirt or backroads preferrences???

Lets throw this around and see what bakes.

Tomahawk area I know the fire roads up there, and hw 107 is a great ride up there, good food at a few spots on the way depending on your taste. There a trail over by Phillps I think across hw 8 from there anybody up that area know of this ?

I'd be interested in meeting more riders from around here, not enough
Time to be the ring leader though. Keep me updated

I live in Phillips, haven't ridin trail from Tomahawk to Pike lake area. But alot of the national forest. My job has kept me away riding as much as I would have liked the past couple of years. Not anymore. Would like to put more miles on this.

And this,my new toy, which I put 200 miles on Thurs. after work.

And here's trouble, got to be the most fun you can have on the street.

At one time I had gps tracks of most every decent trail and deer path in the Chequamegon National Forest. Unfortunately I lost the gps unit and and never backed anything up. Plus I seem to have a case of short... and long term memory loss, but I still remember how to ride and know a few places.

Complete sentences and punctuation really do wonders for reading comprehension.

When you get hit by tractor trailer and have to relearn everything some things do slip threw the cracks. I will try to do better.

Ride Dates???

Weather getting warmer now I just put on 100 miles today thinking weather getting better ( yea right huh ) in two weeks. So I was hoping that the 28th of April we could get some together and go for a ride. Thats a sunday if y'all don't have a calander handy. Not an all day affair maby just a cruze threw some back roads or ride threw town depending on temps. lol two three hour run if anyone is up for it?

We still have the snow in Antigo.
I would like to meet area riders.
When the snow disappears, I can ride the gravel somewhere north of Wausau with everyone.
I have two 2001 BMW F650GSs, so my bikeless brothers and Harley friends can adventure ride/camp with me.
I trailer to the UP frequently.
