I'm contemplating joining in on my 12GS tractor pig. Do many participate in the GRGR on a big bike? Most of the pictures I see from the past have most of you on sensible bikes. I'm assuming most of it is gravel with the occasional dirt service road so the 12GS shouldn't be a problem (unless it rains). Has the route been posted for review yet?

You will be fine on your GS if it is raining the level B's can get very muddy but most of them have go a rounds. I have yet to be involved in a ride that if some one needs help they don't get it. People might take the time to take a picture or several but there are always many hands to help out. No one gets left behind unless it is there choice.

You should ride your fat bike on it.

I'm going to be on my Versys so I wont be getting too crazy with the mud and jumps either. Its great fun on gravel and dry dirt. Mud, not so much

Hey everyone, my BIL has a guy who does really good silk screen work that could make us t-shirts for around $10 each. If you are interested in buying a shirt post up and let me know. If it looks like there is some interest I will work out a design and post it for approval before we order/print them. I need to know ASAP so we can give the guy some lead time before the ride.

I was thinking about maybe having GRGR 2013 and some relevant artwork on the front and the phrase "The Shiftless Ride The Driftless" either on the back or under the artwork on the front. Waddaya think?

How about this on the front of the shirt with the text changed to read, "GRGR 2013" across the top, and "ADVRIDER" on the bottom...

Then on the back it would read ...

The Shiftless Ride The Driftless

Great River Gravel Ride 2013

Something like this, except I want to play with the colors and the font of the text on the back, and of course the text inside the logo on the front would be changed.

All criticisms and suggestions welcomed as long as you do it soon.

Does anyone know how to photochop this text...

GREAT RIVER

GRAVEL RIDE

...into this logo...

...and still keep a similar font to the original?

While you're photo choppin', you should add a dualsport flying over the boat.
