Also: Are you using a choke, or does the enricher on the carb work well enough on initial start up??

Can you post up a picture of the carb?

I have 2 of the stock brackets I cant use on my bike, got a good brake lever to trade?

You bet. If it weren't for them, it scares me to think how sober I might otherwise be most of the time.....

I installed a Moose lift strap on the rear end of my bike over the winter... There is a serious lack of good handholds on the XRL and I seem to make a fairly regular habit of getting into spots where I have to pull and tug the old girl back up onto the trail I put the strap to good use on my last ride when I had to horse the F&^%$er around to get through the snow. I got to looking at the strap today and it didn't fare so well. The buckles were both straight when I installed the strap.

You can see the one buckle is clearly bent to shit! The hole in the center is also no longer round. I guess they didn't design the strap for a 300+ pound bike

So... I got to thinking. I built one of my own!

Not sure yet that it is exactly what I want, but it's a first prototype.

I know... the bike's filthy and the garage is a rat's nest...
