See y'all this weekend.
Don't forget the VMX450... The new "Vinny Cam" has a clear microSD card and the batt is charging as I type this.

Hey Spencer, Ed here, the guy that bought your bed buddy thing (its awesome btw).

The start of the race is pretty amazing. A good viewing area is near the first gate where all the riders funnel through. It will be setup by the Stumpies area, to the left of where you pull in to the site. Lots of people climb the little hill with the flags to watch.

After the bomb run start, riders get pretty spread out over the course, not sure if there are any good places to setup to watch the race itself.

Later, at the end of the first lap, its fun to watch the racers come into the pits and head back out. Especially if you know someone and are helping out in the pits.

Not sure I would drive all the way out to Odessa with the family just to watch the race though.

Ed

Good times

When I saw you paas me Kootenai Rider I know it was time to turn up the wick. I'm bummed I got a front flat at mile 24 but I was taking some sckechy lines and riding faster than I should have for how rocky it was. After riding the next 26 miles with a flat tire I still pulled into the pits maybe 10 minutes behind you.
I'm stuned they closed the corse for for second lap starters so early. Last year the corce closed at 1pm, this year 12:30? With the 22 minuted delay for second wave starters and the big bottle neck at mile 10 I bet 1/2 the team racers never got a chanse to do a second lap. Kinda bull shit.
