Thanks Simon, I will have to have a google for the CRG mirrors to see what they are like.
The rear shocks are Ikons, but I can't remember the model number.

Looks good Gump, sometimes I wish I had a red & white Scrambler...I have a red Thruxton & a blue & white Scram. I could play with the red mudguards on the Scram or fit the rear & leave the front white (got a FEK on the Thrux)
These bikes are so easy to mix & match

Cheers Terry

Nice mods gumpt.

Did you fill the rack holes on your solo seat tail?
Some flat track bars would look nice on there!

Looks good without over doing it. Cool road burner.

Yes, I picked up a spare seat tail from fleabay, and filled the holes with fibreglass before painting it. You are right about the bars, I am considering some flat track bars and small bar end mirrors to finish it off.

I could not find a supplier over here for the CRG mirrors, so I bought these from the online parts shop,
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-Quali...item2c676a8209

I really like them, they are nice and neat, give a good view, and are good quality.

I have also removed the gaitors, so I think she is now finished! (for now )

I went out and put some colour on the pipe this afternoon!

Sorry gump,

Unless you are chasing the scared meercat look, I think your headlight is too high. The whole front to rear visual line of the bike would look more coherent (and lower) if the headlight was in line with the tank, seat, cowel etc.

Is it possible to lower the speedo to achieve that integrated look you were initially chasing?

Agreed - I really don't care for the line of the bike. I installed a custom speedo which took care of the ugly stock speedo

You guys are right, the light looks even higher now the gaitors are off.
I was considering fitting one of these when funds allow,

Which speedo did you fit to yours Chasssmash?
