I think it's fair to say Vale hasn't lost Anything, he still has the skill, craft and determination and its going to be a great year Marc'y boy is already proving he'll be a real challenger to win in his first year, he can only get better and Cal deserves a works bike, his bike is so slow down the straight, I think at some circuits he has a very good chance of a few podiums (and that's on a bike exactly the same as what he was racing last year according to his team) Jorge did what he does best and walked it but I would imagine he be rather concerned when he watches the race later and see's how fast Vale was and how he carved his way through the other Aliens. Dani must be absolutely gutted and its gonna mess his head up unless he can stamp his authority on Marc (which I doubt he will).

A big ask: anyone feel the urge to give a brief race summary after each round of the championship?
Or to provide a link to someone that does?
Will mean a lot to those that don't have the subscription to watch it live...

Wow. Just... Wow.

Halfway through the race, I was thinking that this season's big rivalry might be Crutchlow vs. Marquez - two aggressive riders both fighting for podiums, if not wins. I did not expect it to turn into New Kid vs. Old Hand like that. Fantastic stuff, I can't wait for Austin!

Krop will have something out later. It's always a great read.

Any race with Dani off the podium is fine with me!

Marquez' re-pass on Rossi had me jumping off the recliner.
Didn't last but proved he is a brave young lad.

I told the GF "this would be a great race if it weren't for 9 fingers being out of sight up front".

See you all in Austin.
