Yacugars on an 01 GS

I just put on a new set of Yacugar shocks on my 01 1150GS. I go them from Ted Porter's Beemershop. This is a super easy project, about 15 minutes for the front and a little longer for the rear. (Sorry I didn't take pics of the install) Anyway, they seem really good! The ride is much improved over the 61K miles stock shocks and I need to play around with the rebounding a little but they definitely are better. It isn't quite as noticeable as new suspension on other bikes I have had but they didn't start out as good as a stock GS so not really a good comparison.

I also just put Yacugars on an 01 1150GS. I've only been out for one ride since installing them, and not very long at that, but certainly seems like a huge improvement. I expect I will notice even more of a difference when I start loading the bike or riding 2-up.

Head's Up - Yacugar on sale at Ted Porter's

Just thought I'd pass this along for anyone interested in Yacugars.

I called Ted Porter to get a price quote on a front Yacugar for my 1150GS and for once in life I had good timing as they

are on sale. Picked up a front for $539, which is $60 off the regular price. I'm not sure if the sale extends to all models but

it probably does. Ted is a great guy to deal with - honest and thorough.
