Big thanks to Troy for bringin shims over and helping me get this done, anyone ever have trouble getting old shims out ? Magnet would not lift them out, we had to apply air pressure through the spark plug hole with correct size rubber hose that we threaded in to spark plug hole,
while holding the crank to keep it from turning. At the same time we pressed down on valve assembly with a socket that just fit were the bucket or cap was , this allowed the valve to push the shim up out of it's resting place. at that point our magnet that was placed through the socket all along then lifted the shim up and out. Really a three man job, but me and ol Troy gotter done !

That's super cool that TJ has a shim kit - they are expensive.

Sorry you had trouble getting them out. I forgot to tell ya'll that I usually jb-weld them in place so they don't fall out and get stuck in the lateral phase retractors.

Your just jealous IHF. I thought about you all the time while I was riding. Not really, I was just trying to find this dam Slash X Cafe. Then when I did they were closed.

In 150 miles I did not see one other person..... other than a Dam sheriff. I'm in the middle of the dam desert and he still finds me.

But it was very nice to get out and open it up alittle

Late update

Excellent ride on Sunday guys. Even though I spent a lot of time picking my bike up or getting it stuck in mud holes, it was a great time as always! I really felt I was riding better than I have until that stupid tree bottom out/get off and then I guess I just lost it and things went way downhill from there haha. It was okay though because after I left I went to Nashville and got drunk with the parents in town (and still somehow managed to run 4 miles at 6am yesterday). At this Legends place they were talking bout this crazy old redneck guy who rides named Mike something....too bad he doesn't seem to be around .....

Here's the video I got from the ride by the way. Even got to crash test it all at the end when I was following too close to Thread and had to dump it, so FYI, Contour camera's are pretty tough!
