Seat Concepts

Any experience with covers from Seat Concepts?
I need a little extra height (and comfort) on my 2005 F650GS.
Any recommendations on somewhere local that could do the
installation?

Thanks!

Lots of guys on the wr250r thread swear by them.

In other news I picked a helluva day to ride to work and put in a little overtime...now I'm stuck here and it looks like hell out there.. I said to myself "meh, it's only a chance of rain". Looks like mother nature called my bluff...

I chose not to ride for the chance of rain. I have good rain gear, but my laptop for school is not mine. And I had gotten out early and came home in pure sunshine. Mother nature is a bitch godess

I rode into work last two days. I used my Joe Rocket leather jacket that has a liner, both days. Just perfect for the mornings, and great in afternoon, with vents open and liner zipped out.
Today.....zipped out liner and opened vents at 3:30....getting ready for ride home.
4:30, felt how much the temp dropped...put the liner back in and closed vents. LOL
No rain down here,luckily....Yet.

I just put a seat concepts seat on the Klr. I could help you install the cover some weekend if you like. I have the pneumatic staple gun and the stainless steel staples.

You are welcome to try out my seat if you like as well.

...wound up splitting the office around 7:30; there was a break in the rain. With a waterproof jacket and rain pants rain doesn't bother me, but high winds and the possibility of electrocution can be a real bitch! That was one interesting light show on the way home -holy cow, I haven't seen lighting like that in a while!

It was like Armageddon last night in the harbor.
A defined black line in the sky, went from light and variable winds to suddenly blowing with gusts to 60 knots ! And what a lightening show

Jim, 2 guys I know can do it if you don't want to do it yourself.
1 in Hackettstown. Young guy owns his own auto upholstery shop. Next to M&M Mars. Another in Blairstown. Buddy is the owner.
But the guy in Hackettstown will do it while you wait.

Re: Seat Concepts

Thanks everyone. I've ordered a cover, and I'll be bugging someone once I see the instructions.

They are very good seats jimmy. You will get new foam and cover. They will tell you to staple cover over new foam yourself or have it done. If it were me, for the low cost that it is, I'd have it done by a upholster. He will properly stretch the cover as he staples with pneumatic gun using stainless fasteners and it will not end up looking like Docs old Barcounger on that beater he rides.
Lol
And like I mentioned the fella next to M&M Mars in Hackettstown will do it right then and there. Pepe and I both have used him if your looking for one.

And while on topic of seats.
Shick,
How the heck did you ride as far as you did continuously on that stock GSA German torture device, I mean seat ?
Lol
