I just installed the MM10 kit and I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of the bullet lights and their housing, as well as the ease of wiring, nearly plug and play. Connect 2 leads to the battery and 1 lead to a switched source.. Done. The illuminated switch: red is off, green is on is a great feature, and the price is right.

Thanks for extending a special price offer to the ADV community

Missed the boat

Just went to the site to order a set. Looks like the MM10s are out of stock right now. Any idea when they will be available again?

Edit: Kris took care of me. Thanks, and I look forward to installing them on my Wee!

WR250R Install

I finished my Mondo MM10 install on my WR250R a few days ago and thought I'd post up... I have a full installation post on my website here, including the custom brackets I made that really turned out nice on my WRR!

So far I'm very pleased with these aux lights.. just what I was looking for! Thanks Mondo!!

Finally warmed up enough to spend a few hours in the garage so I installed my lights and took them for a ride. What a great product at a great price.

How worried should I be about getting the on/off switch wet? It doesn't look particularly waterproof, compared to the rest of the kit.

Fender mounted Bullet lights, 06 Vstrom 650.

I mounted the brackets as above but used the stock fender mount bolts. They are a 'shouldered' bolt which require drilling out the bracket mount hole somewhat but work well once that is done. A dab of blue Loctite should keep them in place. A fine looking Wee I must say.

Wiring Diagram

While I'm here I may as well ask if someone could post a [B]simple[B] schematic drawing for wiring a set of MM10 lights to the Eastern Beaver PC8 fuse block on my 2006 Wee Strom, (DL 650). I ordered the lights with the wiring kit and switch. I am assuming I would cut the ring connectors and integral fuse off and wire this directly to the fuse block? As the PC8 is fused the included fuse would be redundant, correct? I will keep the relay and tap the dash mounted switch into a powered circuit, correct? Thanks in advance for any help. Doing the wiring is not an issue but I am a bit slow when it it comes to wiring diagrams.

Don't cut off the ring connectors; attach them to the battery. Then run the red wire to your fuse block and attach to the positive side. This powers the MM relay when the power is turned on. It couldn't be simpler. The supplied switch is now energized and the red LED should glow.
