Sell me one of these bad boys!

Love the bike but not the FI snatch; this looks the ticket! Ordered today and cannot wait to install. Looks like you really got something going here!

Htc follow up

I installed the sensor inside the left fairing. Temp was nearly 70. Mix of interstate, twisties and gravel. Was scrubbing in new rubber so wanted to get a mix in.

I will disconnect and do the figure 8 test, hopefully tmr. Hopefully it will return to its previously adjusted state.

Thanks.

Back to the right normal

Ok so I disconnected did the fig 8 test and was pretty abrupt on/off throttle. Reconnected did the same and was much smoother.

So not sure what changed, but certainly different than yesterday when I was out. Will hit the gravel again tomorrow to confirm findings.

Thanks,

Test ride doing slow figure 8 with and without the unit to test the difference.

Scatto,
If you do lots of stop / start similar to single track riding locate the PC (or Juice) temperature sensor on the outside of the faring (next to the snorkel intake so you don't pick up heat from the radiator.

I have had two riders (one with a 1150 Rt and one with an 1150gs) tell me they used a soldering iron to melt a small hole in the intake and stuck the very end of the sensor in there to get good ambient air temperature (and sealed up with silicone).

I actually ordered one of these for my BMW F650GS'YZ'Dakar conversion bike. Can't wait to see the improvement.

If it is anything like what the "original" HTC Power Controller did for my F800GS I'm gonna be

Got it yesterday. Well I think I arrived Friday but I don't check the mail that often.

Install was simple. Will test out as soon as I get a chance. Front end of tge F650GD is off for an upgrade.

I ordered the Power Commander unit yesterday. Hoping to hear back on the shipping soon. Sounds like a great option compared to other units available or not. Hope to be riding this weekend with it. I'll report back.

Updated: This evening received word that the Power Commander has shipped. Can't wait to see what a difference it makes. Took the wife for a ride tonight and she commented about the bike running rough. I told her about the PC device so it will be interesting to see if she notices the difference. Officially a two rat study now...More to come after the install...

I just installed the power controller with the switch tonight on my F800GS...I am floored! IT'S SO MUCH SMOOTHER at low RPM, I rode the bike from almost a crawling pace and very slowly accelerated to about 20 mph in the first three gears! I love it! I am going to ride the gravel mountain roads in the morning!
This is probably the highest return I have ever gotten on a motorcycle farkle for the money spent
GREAT PRODUCT!

Update: I did 12 hours in the saddle yesterday, half off-road including many water crossings, sand, deep gravel, slippery mud and on gravel crisscrossing the Blue Ridge Parkway several times. Without a doubt, this product saved me from several stalls and possible tip overs in the 180 degree, deep gravel turns on the mountainside! No jerking, stalling, lunging forward or unexpected rear wheel spin!!!

Smooth throttle control and a total pleasure to ride. This less than $100 product has transformed my bike completely!
