Apparently you're missing the point. Think "testoerone fuelled straight line contest", and you'll better understand the extended swingarm fad.

I find them hideous, but there are scads of "guys" with those, and much more. It's typically on a Hyabusa... Imagine that!

Well, you guys got to me and I watched Die Antwoord on you tube, and now I have one of their albums. My missus hates it, which means I like it even more. It gets under your skin. Thanks for the heads up.

Another reason for not having an 'extended swingarm'...... if you slip off the back at least you don't land on the tyre! :-

The 'green meanie' is looking good bubu ...glad to see you are getting out .... the weather here is still atrocious for the time of year ...but Sarah and I did manage to get out for a couple of short rides at the weekend.... so it is gradually improving ..we are now starting to see double figure temps .... so the rain is getting warmer! ......

Between periods of rain ....

leaving Glasgow on the A82 ..... race!

Gartocharn on the A811...

The Gartocharn to Drymen section of the A811 is pretty 'bendy'..... the good news is they have just resurfaced a lot of it with plenty of Shellgrip on the bends ...

Snow still on the Campsies....

Few more from the weekend ...always good to stop at the Carbeth to catch up with some of the regulars ....

Stopped at the Hillfoot Café for an ice cream on the way home ...so we could at least pretend it was 'summer'....... this place has been making the best ice cream for as long as I can remember ....

Luckily the latest gixxers come with a 'cone holder' as standard ........ Good old Suzuki - f*ck traction control and ABS - here, have an awesome cone holder!

..and before anyone mentions - 'What, no flake!?' ..... remember we live in an era of 'austerity' now. ...... before the 'Credit Crunch' it was 'flakes all round' and sometimes two flakes! - the decadence!... but it couldn't last forever *sigh*
