No problems here.

BSB race 1 just finished. WSBK race 2 up next.

Do not click to download anything at VIPbox. Let the video player load and click the red X's to clear any ads.

That said, if you don't have adblock and popup blocker enabled, don't bother.

Great track. More drama!

Props to Baz and Cluzel for coming through from dead last.

Good on Chaz Davies for finally getting the right set-up in the right series to show his talent!

Grabbing the double against a very talented field is hopefully a sign for a great season to come.

And props for Guintoli for the silver finish in both races!

Probably not Ducati's favorite track, but between Philip Island and this weekend, it could be a very long year for the Ducs.

Good for Chaz.

And good for Guinters; I've always had a soft spot for the guy.

These 'back up riders' seem to be stealing the series, so far..

Is this the first BMW double win by a single rider? Can't remember from last year.

I think it's time this series started to lose some of the electronic aids. The racing will become even betterer....
Wouldn't be a bad idea to get rid of the Ducatis restrictions either....they may have 200cc extra, but that's no advantage against 2 extra cylinders. The weight penalty doesn't help either.

The only advantage Ducati had in the past was the power delivery of the V-Twin on technical tracks. Now the electronics packages on the multi-cylinders have completely negated any advantage the V-Twins used to have. 200cc's of extra displacement still can't make up for the horsepower disadvantage the Ducatis have compared to the rest of the field. At a certain point I think they will either go V-4 or give up any opportunity to win any future championships.

Maybe there is a place for their MotoGP bike after all.

Nup. The rules will change. KTM want to join the party as well, and are lobbying hard (along with Bologna), to get some real equity before they sign on. Unfortunately, now that the DICKtator is running the show, it could be 'interesting' negotiations......
Then again, I was wrong about something once before.......

The Duc giving up 17kph on the straights is huge, over a kilometer straight (and there are a few of them) you are talking a 0.10 or so, that is 2 full seconds over the course of the race.

Argon, Monza, Siverstone, Assen, Miller, all have very long straights, those are tracks where you can effectively count out the duc, just on high speed.
