Make sure you download a known good copy of the maps on your ECU before uploading anything. So you're not left in the dark in the event the upload goes wrong.

You'll be messing with what controls pretty much everything related to the running of your motor. If you have no idea wtf you're doing, ask someone you trust for help.

Wow, your bike has a power band? I've been wanting to buy one for mine. What brand do you recommend?

Touratech is the only place to buy a good power band. I think that's the brand they used in the Long Way Round movies. They're way over priced but what can you do?

There's only one way to go for improved throttle response, more HP and maximum adjustability;

Power Bands are over rated. What you really need is a thigh master.

Of course you can start a thigh master with a dead battery. Those power bands need a battery to start.

That's a wide power band. Looks real snappy!

All this 990 talk makes me want one. Anyone want to trade for my Beagle, a pack of gum, and some pocket lint?

Big red. The Beagle was picked up from the doggie junk yard a few years ago, so mileage is unknown. He hates anything with two wheels, hates guns, and refuses to lay on hard surfaces. Must have been a woman in his past life.

Idlewild is coming up quick, any trail reports?

Other than the twitchy low throttle I need to rip off that ugly low fender.

PS: I gave up trying to find one even quasi-local and shipped it over from San Diego. The $600 in shipping was made up for the fact I was able to get it a lot cheaper than the ones you see around.
