KTM LC4 Duke 2 let's see em...

Ok,so the title is lame...

I've just sold my '97 LC4 400 converted to SM with SMC bodykit....and I'm about to purchase the duke 2 from an expat,it's only got 24k km,black,it's got FCR...the rest is pretty stock except for Red Renthal fatbar and handguards apart from modded stock exhaust. It's an '04 model by the way.

Transaction will be tomorrow.
I search through this forum on this bike,but...nothing...it's basically same engine line with the rest of the 640s...

but nevertheless....pics pls...infos...anythg....

If this not well appreciated...this thread will be in dust....

cheers

I don't have a Duke II, but I need the tank and shrouds for my 625 smc. That setup seems to be the best compromise of looks vs. fuel range. That is a sharp looking bike you are snatching up btw.

The stock tank is only 9 liters and i also have the 18 liter tank for it. The Duke should have a 12 liter tank for a good compromise between the too small stock tank and the huge 18l tanker.

Rode the bike for 2 days already...and I just gotta say I love it...it's a hooligan bike on the street...just can't stop taking the front wheel off the ground...but a little hot on the legs though on city traffic..

Since engine, and nothing much to be taken care off...I asked a friend for some decals.

However....

these has caught my attention...

I want to rework the positions of the mufflers.
and of coz when that happens...the rear fender have to go and replaced.

Lastly...the front high fender and regular headlite.which..is still 50/50 as the stock mutant headlite with the low fender suddenly is growing on me.

so let's see...

2001 Duke II with Factory laced spoke wheels, Sudco FCR 41 and re-worked cans with custom license place holder. Steering Dampner added and all else pretty much stock.
