My first K75 was so smooth that I fell asleep riding it, crashed and totaled it. I'm sure the fact that I was massively hungover from a bachelor party the night before was not a contributing factor.

Many thanks for the replies. Again, I just don't know these bikes as well as others in the mc world. I want my friend to have a good experience, so I needed to seek out the experts' advice.

As soon as Spring arrives here in Nebraska (forty degrees today, snow yesterday, mid fifties for the weekend...grrrr), we will likely go have a look at the bike and I will keep everyone posted.

I didn't get it on my K75 either, it's inherent in the 4 cylinders due to the absence of a counterbalancer that the triple has.
