Moab April 29th - May 3rd

A few of us will be towing our bikes from Ohio to ride Moab for the week. Our schedule will probably look something like this:

Monday - Slick Rock and Porcupine Rim
Tues - Gold Bar Rim, Gold Spike and Poison Spider
Wed - Various trails around White Wash
Thur - Various trails around White Wash
Fri - Sovereign & Salt

On the drive out we'll probably ride a couple hours on the trails above Eagle, Co on April 28th. And on the way back we'll probably ride a couple hours at Rabbit Valley on May 4th.

If you want to ride any of those, let us know.

Hmmm....snow at Eagle

Since the Eagle area has got some snow, we may switch the dates for Eagle and Rabbit Valley. We may ride Rabbit Valley on the 28th and Eagle on May 4th. We probably decide this time next week which way we'll do it.

Moab forecast looking perfect

Forecast for Moab looks almost perfect

Vail keeps getting snow. Looking more like riding Rabbit Valley on the way out and Eagle on the way back.

May 4th above Eagle probably won't be doable because of snow. We received 4 feet of new snow in Vail in the last 7 days, and more is on the way this coming week. It will probably be June before you will want to ride up there.

Roger that. Another 4-10 inches predicted for tonight in Summit County. I'd say there is no way are you riding anything but I-70 in Eagle...

No need for chains

Fosecast looks warm and sunny.

Lingering snow on the mountains may delay our ride at Eagle, but the drive out should fine.

Forecast for Moab looks perfect.
