The reason is I'm considering making a blitz trip out there Thursday night, ride Friday and then drive home Friday night.
From the list I would say YES but not sure if things have changed with people since saying.

It looks like there will be enough people to do an early ride, maybe 8:30 or 9 meet time, then roll by the lot between noon-12:30 to grab the stragglers..i can do that easy enough..we will coordinate who plans on bringing what for meal contributions/charcoal etc..i am hoping if we all talk early, we can do this well with low cost...start putting out what you were thinking or if you have a specialty and we will put it by your name..i had basic ideas of sides of coleslaw/potato salad, chips/salsa and maybe a veggie tray...

I have some hot dogs already. Probably will grab some more goodies.
I'm still bringing Honey Jack to share, probably some beer too

Grub +1 will be there a little later Saturday morning and Sunday.

Enduro-Ince wasn't capitalized

Fix that before he sees it.

Alright... we'll see how things work out... I'm hoping to drive out on Thursday and ride Friday. I'll have to bug out Friday evening though. But I'm sure you can dish out enough riding in one day to make the drive worth it.

Mark, thanks for making the adjustment..i have started adding to it as info comes in. Sorry for the loss of family and stress of a premie baby..Is that powertrippin's? If so, give him my thoughts...i know that can be trying times for sure..
Big development..I left Moab a bit early today to help my in-laws move a bunch of furniture over in Ridgway. How does that affect this ride you ask? Well, my father in law is going to smoke 4 racks of ribs Thursday for me to pickup Friday morning on my way by. We need a few other Friday riders to step up with sides, and we are complete. Any Saturday riders just need sides for that day. Timing I think varies too much on arrival that we should plan on leftovers or individual snacks for breakfast/lunches..anyone else have thoughts, or should i just start designating something to bring along?

Ribs - Awesome! Thanks!
Breakfast and lunch I was planning on fending for myself.
If nobody is too picky, I can bring more beans for Friday night. What's BBQ without beans?

Sorry I'll be doing meals with my MTB friends. Those ribs & burgers sound awesome! I'll bring some tortilla chips & salsa. I also have a portable outdoor fire pit pan that I'll bring along. It'll hold normal size fire wood and has a grate lid on the top. I'll bring a bundle of fire wood but anyone else that can contribute would be appreciated. Looking forward to the weekend!

Cool Pat. I am going to bring my river fire pan as well, and an ammo can for the ashes, so we can look have absolutely no impact come morning. If your MTB friends are camping with you, i see no reason not to all collectively eat together for dinner, promote cross sport relationships and just be more social. Your call.
Griz-should we plan on your family for dinners as well?

So who with a camper is stepping up for coffee detail? That would be nice....anyone? Buehler?

i put you down for coleslaw and or potato salad...

regarding the map, if you are just planning on Sidewinder, I don't think you will need one, but if you get interested in the area, you may want one eventually. To get to Sidewinder from the Peach Valley parking lot, head back out of the parking lot to the main dirt road. Take a right. Go about 1/4 mile or so up the road. There will be an obvious road going off to the right. I think it will be labeled as the Gunnison River access, Chukar trail, something to that effect. Go a few hundred yards up the road and there is a parking area straight ahead whereas the main road goes right. From that parking area, follow the trail straight ahead through the fence. This will put on Eagle Canyon. It is fun, you will like it. After the short little canyon, you will do some small switchbacks climbing a dirt hill. 'Top of that is another intersection, take a left. Follow that a little bit until you come to a road. Right across the road is Sidewinder. From there it is well marked where it crosses roads. Follow until you find us!

I have 2 camp perks I can brew in the camper Monkey-butt style. Just don't expect them to be ready at the butt-crack of dawn.
