Things to see along the TET

I'm doing the TET from MA to NC May 10-24ish on my way down and back from my daughters graduation in Winston Salem NC

Are there any "must see" places along the way? Natural wonders, lakes, waterfalls, distilleries, great restaurants , great camping spots

Any info would be great.

Mike

NC place

Hot Springs NC is a cool little town designated as an overnight stop on the route.

It's also on the Appalachian Trail... runs down the sidewalk through town.

Cool bars, eateries, camping in town on the river, Hot Springs Spa across the street.
