I have been thinking the same thing. A great way to challenge yourself without the high speed factor......

Some people will just use the right hand and low woods gearing to simulate the effects of trials riding to challenge themselves.

EC,

Probably my favorite half day ride is the best gravel roads of Tamworth and Sandwich, overta the Diamond Ledge and Sammich Notch/Tripoli Road with Bison Burgers at the Woodstock Inn and the Kanc home to Centah Conway.

Question is: Is it "trip-OH-lee"? Or is it "Triple-EYE". I've heard plenty of both versions. If the name is taken from the city in Libya, it would of course be "trip-OH-lee". Inquiring riders want to know.

I've been corrected a few times when I say trip-oh-LEE.

Gonna have to get the list of Tamworth/Sandwich gravel roads from you. Prolly have a few of them in my collection but i'm sure you have others.

Kanc, to Passaconaway to West Side to Hurricane is a nice return.

Relatives in Thorton call it trip-oli.

Kind of like the saco river being called the sacko?
