Hey guy. Got a tool but not used it yet. Sorry... too windy, snowy and cold. I think I need some spacers for F800GS wheels but my google fu is weak and I have yet to get the right info. Might want some on your next order. Have a great time off and put this shit behind.

The rear on the 800 is 20mm, I'd expect the front to be within about 3mm of that.

Well, the tool as it sits will do the rear, as it's a 20mm rod. If the front is 3mm smaller, then the 17 mm adapter would be ideal. If the front is 17-18-19, you could turn the 20mm rod down to 17-18-19 and it will be fine. Then either use it that way, or shim it back to 20mm with duct tape, electrical tape, etc. when you did the rear. The tool also has a sleeve that shims the rod out to 25 mm. You could turn the 20mm rod down to 17 and still use it for the 20mm rear. I suspect it would work even with a little slop.

But you know what they say, " a guy can never have too many adapters....."

I'm jammed up trying to get out of town next week, I'll be up in the mountains a couple weeks and one evening when I'm too tired to go ride, I'll sit down and organize the waiting list and post it up. Then we can decide if GB III goes down or not.

PMR
Please put me on the list for the next round if that happens..
Thanks

'Haven't used mine yet, but this weekend's looking good for a tire change or two. I like to let a new tire warm and soften-up in the sun awhile before changing.

I'm impressed by the tyre tool. The fit/finish and quality of the machine-work, welding, & materials are on-par w/ a good firearm. Nothing sloppy, cheap, or Harbor-Freighty about it.
