Switch in F650 Dakar ABS Circut???

Just got my hands on Dakar and I see a lot of complaining about the ABS. I'm not sure I want to remove it completely and I know I will forget to turn it off when I go off road. is it possible to install a switch into the power circuit for the ABS Box? would the light still flash like it does when you pull the fuse? any other problems I don't see with this plan? The advantage would be that I can shut it down completely before I leave town on a dirt ride but still have it available for longer hw trips where I might need it (hopefully not).

I don't have an answer to your question but I love the abs on my G650. It's saved my ass several times on road. Turning it off road isn't that big a deal and takes seconds even if you do forget. When I'm off road all day i get in the habit of turning it off when firing up the bike. I wouldn't worry about it.

You might get a better response from the Dakar 650 mega thread since that's where everyone is already
