Hey man! Thanks for reading the report. I had a great time creating it and writing it at the same time. Can you show me/link me to the reference in Lightcycles report?

The Australian report is more or less a blog. Hidden in the depths of the inmate section of this forum. I'm behind the times on it, and lacking with content. But enjoy it for what it is!

Thanks again for reading!

There the Canadians from Toronto
who were on the same ship/ boat
going around the Darien Gap.
Really cool. Thanks.
I'll go to the Aussy report next.

In Perth on Anzac day

Hi Big Al,
I'm a big fan or you ride report and your positive outlook in the face of adversity. I enjoyed reading the entire report withmy 13 year old daughter.
As luck would have it, I'm gonna be in Perth on Anzac day with my dad and my wife's uncle. We land in Perth early in the after and will be riding out north the next morning (ending in Darwin on May 17)
If you you happen to be out betting on Two Up I'd love to buy you a pint.
Cheers,
HOB

You know, It is a dream to ride like this. However,
I do what I can. I camped overnight a couple of times.
Look at this.... It'll only take a couple minutes.
Almost heaven, West Virginia.

Damn! Missed ya!

I was working all day ANZAC day, but did have that afternoon off. It's a pity that I missed this post, but such is life. Have a great time on your way north riding to Darwin! I'll make it there and everywhere else before I leave Australia, but you'll beat me to it.

Thanks for the kind offer!

Good start!

You have to start somewhere, and a weekend camping trip is just the ticket for many people. Looks like you had a good time!

Outstanding, the most conversational RR I've ever read. Felt like getting emails from a friend. If you haven't written a book yet, it's not for lack of material!

Thanks for putting in the time to do this. There was a ton of great info beyond the amazing stories.

Big Al, doesn't a Justy have a surfeit of wheels (plus two, to be exact)?

Hey Tex76! Thanks for reading the ride report. I had a great time on the ride, and very much enjoyed writing it as well. Thanks for the compliments! The book sits in 400+pages of Word Document's that must be filtered (1200+photo tags) before it's readable as a whole.

Sion, you'll be happy to know that just a few short weeks after buying it, our Subaru Justy was the unfortunate recipient/victim of a hit and run and was thoroughly totaled. It no longer exists, and as such, the 2wheel vehicles are back on the mind!

Hola Molonlabemike, aka Mike. If Kristi and I make it to L.A. for some reason, I'll take you up on that offer!

well, I'm only happy about that if you got a nice fat insurance settlement out of it...
