With a DRZ belonging to a daughter's boyfriend, I've got five when this Tiger turns up. Although understanding, I think I need to start making some room.

Tell ya missues that she can have more holidays away two-up when you get a better bike.

Wet PAR

Last Sunday it was raining at Blinman, we headed out to the PAR. Not a lot of water in the creeks but the track was wet & a lot of fun.

We played around with the gopro position & my mate David had his on the bars...good to get another bike in the video.

Not as fast as the KTM boys but we are a couple of old farts on trail bikes.

Dr 650 Carbie needed.

The Idle mixture screw on my DR650 carbie has welded it self on for life
Does any one a carbie for sale? or know where I could get my hands on one? Condition does not matter I need the main body so if it is stuffed I can use bits from mine to rebuild it
Cheers Tony

Terry, have a look at a WR 250R, (not the F model).
The R model is more trail riding orientated (vs F model = Enduro race bike).
The R model is also lower in seat height & has something like 5,000km service intervals for oil changes & 10,000km for filters !

RIP Paul

For those who may have followed the antics of Paul and I over the years, just a short note to say that he passed away peacefully last week.

Many thanks to those who made contact with me during his illness. There's an update to our last ride together here:

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=869610

He was a great bloke who never took himself too seriously

RIP Mate

Cheers

So sorry to hear that mate. I was quite moved by your story of Paul's last ride. I had a mate who died of a similar condition and I have fond memories of the last time we rode together as no doubt you have about Paul.

Deepest sympathy to you and all of Paul's family and friends.

RIP Paul.

Deepest sympathies to you Greg on the loss of a good mate.

It seemed like a quick demise, but probably not to you.
