Yup

In 1975 Mann returned to his trail riding roots. He competed on the United States International Six Days Trial team (now the International Six Days Enduro) on the Isle of Man, earning a third place finish on an OSSA 350.

Dick Mann has ridden lots of Trials and done well,he has never made a big deal of it but he really has done every kind of riding and racing there is to be done.

He started flattrack racing as a kid racing against all sorts of big names from back in the day,he just loves to ride.

Same thing with Lance Armstrong, they made him the scapegoat for all racers. Some people picked him out and made him pay.

Having said that, proof is one thing, saying a racer was "juiced" at one time or another with no proof is just horseshit.

That's what I figured,a hunch.

And really, even if he and lots of others were, when you look at how the doping scandal has tarnished bicycling............is it worth it to cast aspersions about something you have no proof of and know nothing about?

What kind of doping causes what kind of facial features?

McGrath also must have been doping he won alot for a long time,Hannah must have been juiced on something,he was fast.

Why say these things about a great rider with just a hunch? He wasnt your favorite?

It's what he does(and very well I might add.)

I agree with most of your posts but don't feel sorry for LA.

After reading Tyler Hamilton's book I have a whole different outlook on him.

I havent read that book, but I also know there's at least 2 sides to every story, what really happened in real time back then may never be known.
From what Ive read many if not all Pro cyclists were doping when they thought they could get away with it.
Big money and careers on the line,it seemed like the French in particular had Lance in their sights from the get-go,not good to win that much.

Who gives a rats ass about pedaling bicycles?

These guys can juice all they want. You still need nerves of steel & proper muscle memory training to be able to pull off this nonsense.

Wait for the whoop section around 0:50

Different kinds of skills and ballz for different kinds of sports, going 50+ mph down a switchback mountain descent with a big pack of fast bicycle guys is pretty sketchy to say the least, then going 20 some days in a row is another thing on the Tour.
Its a different sport.

No, never claimed it was me. That video however, is more on track than the almighty Lance Armstrong tangent.

Besides, if I rode like they did, I wouldn't be watching SX\MX as a spectator.

And in keeping things in the spirit of SX, I know someone mentioned it before, but here's the RacerX news on MA800 skipping last 2 SX Races of the season.

http://www.racerxonline.com/2013/04/...ips-supercross

I wonder if the "new technology" they found is the traction control others are using?
