A CBR1100XX owner (a fat pig in it's own right) that's a friend of mine once
had a ride on one of these and was "spent" after 50-60 miles on the open
road, the thing does not want to change direction, supposedly.

Then again, you can see people on YT riding them on track and kicking a$$.

It's probably a work-out, but DAMN, anyone who wouldn't want to try that
thing is nuts! Then again, anyone who owns one is also nuts.

Thx. Been quite a change from the R65. I'm really enjoying it so far.

+1 I love it! If they sold the MT01 here I"d buy one no matter what the cost.

I almost pulled the trigger on a Buell before they went under. They were great bikes.

Black n' Red was the way to go.

Shoulda done it. In the land of the infinite garage, I'd have mine back in a skinny minute.

I actually sorta like my Harley version of the MT-01...

I know where there is a really good deal on a new 2010 non-ABS ST1300. I'm toying with the idea of pulling the trigger on this. I had an ST before and really liked it. I just hate to spend the $$$ and I am not sure I want to give up my current ride (2008 Nomad).

This is a great thread! It's like a support group.
Hi I'm " " and I wish I had a " ."

Well, my Transalp was supposed to be my " no matter what " runner so I could still ride whilst rebuilding my CB500k, but it's not working out that way. Spring maintenance has revealed some trouble and so I again am wishing for a dead reliable, ride anywhere bike that doesn't overlap much in purpose with my other bikes (transalp and 500k).

This is really tempting:

I did some rough mathematics and figured that if I drive this 33% of the time, the money I save on gas over driving the cage will pay for the bike in 4 years. Not perfect math but hey it's called rationalization.
I have had a strange desire to own a fully fared sport bike for a while now, but one that I could use all the power. The more I look at and read about this bike, the more I want it.

Has anyone heard when the CB-1100's are to be in the dealers showrooms?
I'm in serious "Lust" for one....

I was staring at one last Thursday. Maybe it was my mood, or just the dealership I was in (dreadful), but it didn't press my buttons as much as i expected. However, I am still thinking about the cb1000r

Not quite there on the Mt01, but agree on the Buells. Took a test ride on the bike pictured and a 1200 Lightening Long. Fantastic bikes.
