Question Montana Topo Contour Line Question

With TOPO loaded can the contour line detail be controlled other the just the normal "detail level" global control.
I ask because BaseCamp "Profiles" has an option for no/off and wonder if this has been duplicated with the profile settings on the Montana itself?

If so is it just on/off, show/hide or something more.

Used to have a Garmin V which allowed total control of when and which contours lines were displayed, a great feature which has sadly been dropped.

No. You can not "no-show" the Topo contour lines on the Montana. Send the Montana Team a Feature Request.

Thanks, funny Garmin sees value in this option for the computer (BaseCamp) but not for the GPS.

I will make a request asking for user control of showing minor and major contour lines at differing zoom levels similar to what the "V" was capable of.

I've found that turning of the shading helps a lot with legibility of the map.

On the Montana adjusting the detail level helps show more info when you are zoomed out for a bigger picture.

Not sure if this helps.
