There is a Pre-Party for the contest, Friday night.

Here is the event link: https://www.facebook.com/events/119066678272601/

The Plan: Taking an extra day off is not in the cards so no "welcome" for me. Besides I'd miss this.

A morning visit to Bob's then south. From Baltimore, Fredericksburg is roughly the halfway point to Richmond. A stop at Morton's BMW is in order. They have an event planned that day as well.

RTE season is in full swing!
Our nest Ride To Eat is Saturday, April 27, and we'll leave Morton's around 4:00 pm, bound for Stonefire Station in Barboursville, Virginia. We'll take a scenic route through the countryside, arriving at the restaurant around 5:30 pm.
Stonefire Station offers gourmet sandwiches, soups, and salads, in a beautiful building at the intersections of Rts 33 & 20. Feel free to join us for the ride, or meet us at the restaurant for dinner.
While I am not planning to attend, I did want to post this in case it might grab someone's interest.

Anyway, pictures of the ride down and stops along the way to come. If any of you FF's are going, please send me a pm. Should be a great week-end!

Thank you 8lives. I've decided to throw some money at the BMW; knobby tires, fork seals, and next thing to invest in, suspension upgrades. Keeping an eye out for a used DRZ is not off the table .
