Leon was taken to hospital in Assen where X-rays confirmed fractures to both his tibia and fibula in his lower left leg.

The 29-year-old British rider is being transferred to hospital in Groningen where a specialist will operate later today to pin Leon's leg.

Best wishes from the whole Pata Honda team go to Leon for a speedy recovery and a swift return to action.

Rea and Halsam need to override that Honda nail to get mid pack. Shame. They're better riders than that.

I'm real happy for Guintoli this year. He's doing very well on a great time. Hope he can keep it up.

I have my eye on Jules Cluzel who has been very quietly finishing well inside the top ten in his rookie season in SBK.

Young Leon must be seriously tired of the PAIN. If you remember, he broke his leg at Phillip Island testing last year as well......bloody hell! He's a good kid. And a hard bastard! You'd have to say the same about the other Leon as well, apparently the Aragon injury was pretty horrific, but there he is, out there and right up with his teammate. Unreal.
