I personally wouldn't be interested in one, but I think it's be a neat option.
I've heard the same rumor, since November last year.
But now that Husqvarna is out of the picture, they have that 900cc powerplant... think about it. What are they doing with that motor? No more internal competition across brands... a smaller GSA... 800? 900?

Well... if you like the boxer motor, of course, you have the option now. I personally like the 800 parallel twin much better in terms of feel, smoothness and power delivery. And the 900 version, with a different crankshaft, I hear gives out a V-twin feel... Plus, I like bikes that are more on the compact side of things. A 1200 is a bit of a chore off road. The 800/900 already is too big, actually.

I actually regret not considering the 700 more. The 800 is nice, but it is bulky and heavy.

I would expect to see it in the fall when the normal production is running out of stock. then they can charge more for it.

late summer 2010, 30th anniversary addition
late summer 2011, Trophy
Late summer 2012, (I forget the name)

Yeserdas my dealer showed me some picīs of the new f8adv.
Its looks damn heavy
The Tank is 4-5 cm wider than the old one and the front looks like the 1200 adv.
New windscreen. like the 1200 aswell.

I stay with my old f8 :)

That is interesting - you usually see pictures of prototypes in the magazines before the dealer has any information.

But I talked to a dealer today as well and also mentioned a bigger tank and I guess all the usual farkles are already included. How they get a bigger tank under seat - we will see ...

Maybe any modifications made to the Adventure can be converted over to the standard model?
