When Stewart was on a KX125 he was doing things the top guys on big bikes were not. I've seen him tabletop not 2' from a jump to miss it, lap after lap.
I remember Joel Robert the same way. Absolutely the fastest guy around, faster than the open bikes on a 250.
David Bailey, Hannah, O'Mara, Ward, Johnson, McGrath, the list goes on and on.
There have been a lot of impressive riders through the years. Sucks that some of us hammer them for this or that, when none of us normal guys have a fraction of their bike control or determination.

Yes they do. No backs? I like to be higher where you can see the whole track. I'm guessing no snow this year?

Its like an abbreviation thing........1st letter of last and first name. In McGrath's case the G gets thrown in as well.
JS RV RD JMB, it goes like that.

I hope he remembers that "head of the pack" feeling and brings it to the outdoors. For at least one more win.

and thats that. awesome race. You know those 3 were moving when they're lapping Chad Reed. great racing. Can't wait to go to an outdoor national and see the crowd give it up for Milsapps he really upped his game to be able to give someone like RV a run for his money. awesome. Dungey had the nice holeshot right up the left side and tight around the inside he just couldn't make it stick for a few laps. those whoops really were the whole race everything else seemed just a prelude to. loved RV's black helmet with the green flake. very cool. there is also no doubt that monster energy can is EMPTY!
