Lots of old Winnies for sale for cheap these days.

Here is a '76 Itasca for an even grand.

I was hoping to find an older silver/blue plate for my silver car. Oh well, NY no can do apparently. That worlds fair plate would really be something on a 64.

(If you're interested, being that it's family, they may do it for you.)
You could get a personalized plate with the number/letter combination of the old plate that you want to use and then your registration would match the plate. You can keep the current plates in the trunk if you have occasion to deal with Officer Weenie.

Anyone up for a 50/50 partnership on a mobile meth lab?

I've been a full timer since 2010. I bought this rig a few months ago.
It's a 1994 Rexhall.

So far, so good

I have had serious RV lust for years. Following this thread for the past year (or more) hasn't made it better. I have looked at Bluebirds, Foretravels, old Winnies, and nearly everything in between. My search has been a lot more serious as I have gotten closer to retirement (6 to 18 months). My wife and I finally decided in FEB that a pickup truck with a 5th wheel trailer was what we really wanted.

I found the truck a few weeks ago - 2002 Chevy 3500 dually:

Last SAT, we put money down on a toyhauler:

Finding a truck without breaking the bank let us buy a much nicer toy hauler than I had anticipated. My wife likes the fancy furnishings - I like the 12' garage.

Wow Andy....very nice.

For those who wish to wander: the market for used RV's could not be much better. Fuel prices are forcing some folks to get rid of the "big truck" so you see a lot of gently used big tow vehicles out there also. Add in low interest rates, what are you waiting for - Spring is here!

Since it's just me, I prefer something smaller, less costly and can be transported easier.
Unicat makes a nice setup based on a Bucher Duro which is an awesome platform to
use as a base. Look at a you tube video of a Bucher Duro to see how versatile it is.
