The bar that you are mounting to--is that from the Honda replacement taller windscreen?

Looks awesome! Did you wire the plug into the dash somewhere, or run back to the battery?

yep, that is the bar from the Honda taller screen. I was wondering how to fit a spare touratech gps cradle onto it, but if I do I will only be able to read my speed... on the GPS itself.

I just wired it straight to the battery.
And yes it's the bar/mount for the tall Honda screen.

NOrthwestrider are you still concerned anymore about vibrations, or notice it much? I still really like this bike, it doesn't seem too big to me at all. The back seems pretty small for a passenger, my boots caught a little on the rear peg bracket just sitting on it. This must be the lightest feeling bike, feels like it weighs less than my 250

Does anyone know, will the 700 be significantly faster 0-60mph than my cbr250?

Yes,the vibes are there and so is the ticking.A friend said he could here the ticking from about 50' away.
When I have a chance I will take it to Dales shop and have thrm look at it.The performance is still there and otherwise it runs great.

There's this thing called Google. Type into it anything you want to know and if you can't find what you are looking for in 60 seconds or less it isn't going to be found. Try it, like cbr250 0 to 60, or NC700X 0 to 60 and see if there is anything out there remotely related to your question.

Give a man a fish sort of thing going on here - let him not be so helpless.

he did and it lead him to ADVrider.com, where there are 236,628 inmates to help. ops, make that 236,627 to help and one to tell him to look elsewhere.

I was thinking more of a seat of the pants comparison. The 250 can't get out of it's own way , it's kind of like, just go- and pray. I reckon the 250 is about as fast as the Fit car, (which has a loud ticking and you think it's going to kick the bucket any moment sometimes, but runs great 150K.)
The NC is probably as fast as my Honda mini van. A much more powerful vehicle. But, getting into traffic does it feel like wow, that's all I'm going to need or do you sometimes think- I wish I still had my superhawk?
I'll just have to try one, I just might.

high screen crossbar diameter please?

Northwestrider, what would be the diameter of the Honda highscreen alu crossbar? I would need that info to be sure I can mount my current GPS mount.

I swear I googled it before asking, but couldn't find it.

Many thanks!
