Your cooler works too well Mark

Made the shield out of a dvd case, fastened with simple rubberized twisties. I can untie them by hand and stick the shield in my toolbag should it be needed.
Works like a charm !
Not as "redneck" as my duct tape guard cover. I like the way you think.

Hey Mark, sorry for not responding much earlier, I did pick up the cooler from custom. Installation was a breeze due to your well detailed instruction that came with the cooler. Since installing the cooler I notice the engine does operate at much cooler temperature (it serves the intended purpose).

I must commend you on your on the work and time you have put into delivering such fine workable mod and as well world-class costumer service it’s appreciated.

THAT is NOT redneck! I couldn't bring myself to take pictures of it, but I had mine wrapped in aluminum foil, secured with electrical tape for the first few commutes this spring. THAT, my friend, is REDNECK

Haha, pics or it didn't happen

In the meantime I did spring the money for a manual bypass though, just mounted it last week.
But it's always good to try to Macgyver your way out of a jam first, before reaching for your wallet

I have a question for you. Is it better to email you at mark@mega.net or message you on the forum?

Thanks for thinking of me.
I do everything I can to keep kits in stock. The only coolers that I have now are black.
I expect the bare aluminum coolers in a week or two. I wish that I had a more accurate time-line.

Cheers
Mark

The Bare Aluminum Oil Coolers Have Arrived!

• I just received the bare aluminum oil coolers today. I now have kits with bare aluminum and black oil cooler cores ready to ship.
Thanks to all that have patiently waiting.

• The kit for the XR600 will work with the XL600R.

Ride safe and stay "cool".

Cheers
Mark

Hello Ron,
I am sorry, I did not receive your email. Even checked my "junk mail".
Just to make sure...

If you don't get an email from me, please PM me here.
You are close by, I would be happy to meet up with you to deliver a kit.
Yours,
Mark
