Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO - what a ride!"

Last I heard from her was around Easter, she was trying to shake a nasty cold or flu or something, but otherwise all good. She had said she was going to try to make it to the last ST ride but didn't get there. Might drop her a text and see if she's going to maidenwell.......

Not sure how the dommy is though, each time she been around its been on a VERY VERY noisy Harley.

Countdown to Maidenwell

Ok, we have a few weeks till Maidenwell and the weather forecast for the regions is all clear for the ride weekend ( so far) perfect days and cool nights, a riders dream.
A few possible rains periods before then predicted so maybe it’ll knock some dust down? And top up some of the creek crossings? Doing the recce ride the week before to make sure we know where we are going and that the route is clear and the beers are cold.
Andy P at this stage should have a vehicle coming along to chuck some light gear aboard from Dayboro and meet up at the pub..
If anyone else is bringing a vehicle along please let us know.
Cheers Stricko

Couldnt see why not ? as we will be going through Kilcoy enroute from Dayboro... will need to confirm once we know what vehicles are coming along closer to the date.... Heck I'd even let someone take my car along for journey and back if they want to drive it and come along ? ( I heard company cars can go anywhere )

I will be going past kilcoy, so cant see why not.

Just a heads up though, I have surgery next Wednesday, so there is a very slim chance I wont be able to make it. Got a week and a half recovery, so provided there are no complications I should be ok. Will need you lot to set up my camp though!!!

How much camping gear will be going in the ute? If its too much I might need to hook up a trailer. There is a few people going, so maybe a heads up who wants gear carted.

Hey Andy

Put me down for 60L of baggage. I may hand it over when we get to Kilcoy because I want to see how the bike handles with the gear for a bit.
