I'd pop into a Suzuki. Kawasaki dealer.....looks like a standard Jap fan temp switch.

Measure diameter and thread size. The carb heater switch on my SE is for a Suzuki GSF, cuts in 2c higher than the KTM one...

This company on flee bay has a few...

I have also discovered that it is exactly the same as an 84 degree switch for a 1984 BMW 316/318 :)

Here in the US, the low temp fan switch can be found at lower price from a Suzuki dealer ( $44 +/-) . I recall it is a 88(+/-) deg. Celcius. The SUZUKI part number 17680-50F70

I used this in my 690 radiator, and pretty sure this will fit in the 950/990 radiator. I believe they are all the same thread size.

Good Luck!

I too, believe that the 690 / 990 are compatible - I think you're right...
