I am not seeing anything current, but you can have his WSS Championship "T".

That's because Dovi was in MotoGP with a Tech3 bike that was very close to factory spec and Rossi/Hayden were racing in the DuCRTi series. Not the same thing at all.

And don't get me wrong, I rate Dovi quite high, he handed Cal his butt all year on the same bike.

After watching the Hondas blaze to 211 mph down the back straight at Austin and seeing the CRT bikes do what they could with a knife in a gunfight, I think I have a way to level the playing feild.
It will take a lot of developement on their part, but, there's no reason the O.E.M.s couldn't help out with that.
So, here it is: the proto- types continue as they are. And the CRT bikes will get 2 advantages over their current predicament.
Unlimited fuel load for CRTs and superchargeing. Superchargeing is common in modern autos and unlike turbocharging there's no throttle lag. Superchargeing would level the playing feild as far as top speed goes, possibly even giving the advantage to the CRTs.
If not this, then what ,could possibly get the production motors in the same race with the proto-types ?

No,

The best way to level the playing field with Honda and Yamaha leasing motors and frames which they will be doing. I also think the CRT bikes should have unlimited motors. You can get more power out of the Aprilia V4 is you have unlimited engine changes

I'm glad Puig mentioned Rainey's injury, because it's the first thing I thought of when I saw Schwantz lording his one title over Pedrosa's "nothing."

Wow. I am not a Puig fan, but that was well written, biting, and to the point.

Well done defending yourself and Dani, Alberto!

Wow, Puig showing some serious class...Awesome. Dani is a hell of a rider. If he never wins a championship in the premier class, he is still a world class racer.

Agreed. You gotta let that stuff go or reply in a way to make the other look person stupid. He should have ended his statement with eternal words of the great Stone Cold Steve Austin, "Kevin, know your role and shut your mouth."

Schwantz was a great rider, but this time he probably would have done better, if he kept his piehole shut.

I agree with most of what Puig said and for me to admit that is a big step.
I never liked the guy , met him a couple times when i was doing some business in Spain.
His demeanor was arrogant and condescending towards everyone, and that's during a meeting where he was looking for sponsorship on Dani Pedrosa !

Kevin has his panties in a twist at the moment and Puig's comments sure will not help him in his dilema with COTA and the FIM .

As for how Kevin actually won his championship, well shit happens. He was close enough in the points to be there when it counted. Yes , it's a shame about Rainey , but that kind of a list is long , including many others who's luck ran out at the wrong time.
