Yep, that would be a few friends of mine. Hard to believe I know. I wasn't with them though, I took the Belle Plaine Triumph group up to the Delta Diner today, if you can believe that. It was wicked good.

Metallic Waste and Get_Bent came along too. Good times.

I don't believe a word of it. It won't stick anyway.

Early reviews are in on the Hyperpro Progressive fork springs and supplied 15wt oil on the front of the Fazer.

It seems propforward did a bang-up job on the install. The bike is much more composed over harsh frost heaves, expansion joints, manhole covers, and the like. I was scrubbing in a new front tire so I took it easy on the lean angle and transitions, but it seems a touch firmer and more evenly matched to the rear.

In other news it was really nice to (finally) ride a motorcycle today.

Not to worry, you'll get more rides in soon.

I don't really care about the city dynamic.

Somebody we know is a "tart".

While saving for our first house we lived in the north end of "too scary to investigate". The swat team only showed up once...

We live there now and have for nearly 25 years. And from my standpoint the cartographer is, at best, an ignorant fuck, and at worst, a racist fuck.

Eh? Blown away

My wife was really blown away by those pocket thunderstorms yesterday. Literally.
Heading home out of scandia, in and out of short bursts of rain. Then some "rain chunks" that hurt a bit with a moto helmet. Then I see it ... the water in the two-track is blowin sideways hard ahead of me. No rain but here comes a burst of wind as I flash my brake light and start to pull over leaning into it. Hard.

I glance in my left mirror and see her sorta hunched up on the bike and headed for the left DITCH ! I didn't know what to think .... did she pass out ? have a seizure ...Orrrr was she hiding from a tornado ? ! All these things flashed through as I made my u-turn to find her upright and up on the opposite side hill paddlin her feet through some slick mud/half grass in the right of way, now making her way to the next approach. What a gal.

Her story goes that she tried to ride it out leaning into it then started to lose the back end to hydroplaning. Mini-van following her and no cars coming so off she went. Scared the shiite out of me, which only made the situation worse when your wife is soaking wet and upset and your all like...WTF ! ?

After drying out and taking some medicine "we" recounted the lesson and are now living happily ever after.
Again.

PS - Need better gear.
