Here's my attempt to keep up with Red Beard up the Mt Misery. Couple times when I caught up with him on the ride he was already half done with a cigarette.

Great weekend, many thanks to all who made this possible!

And thanks Al for the nice stickers. I washed my bike yesterday in preparation of attaching the sticker.

This was just a picture I took of my setup. The soft bags (repurposed Swedish Military backpacks) worked out perfectly. Very secure and expandable. This was on my way to Cato Corner Farm. I had leaft a little too early and I had to kill a half hour. I just stopped at a store, got a favorite beverage, and found a secluded spot to relax for a bit waiting for the store to open.

And just a couple shots from the weekend.

Not much rain in the forecast either, I get to ride to work. :-) It's nice to see winter had finally moved on and the truly enjoyable weather is here.

While you were out in the woods I hit the road for a solo trip out to Narraganset

saw some rocks

and Judith Point.

I stopped at Mew's tavern on the way back for some pizza.

Route:
around 115 miles round trip

then back to camp to hang out.

It's always cool to watch the rocks migrating inland to Baby Head hill during mating season.

If it wasn't for all the rocks, roots, trees, hills, mud, ruts, logs, sand, and lack of tar, I'd be a damn good off-road rider!

Looks like you had a nice ride. The 411 in RI is hoot. I had to bail early saturday morning, otherwise I could've shown you some other fun roads in that area. Next time.

I was in a local bike shop and there was a guy I know there that was pulled over by a DEEP agent who was on the warpath for a guy on a 450 that was riding around the ballfileds over and over with loud exhaust doing wheelies and stuff. A group of people with children called the ranger station to complain. I texted Rob at about 11:30 AM on Sat morn (so this happened Friday night)to give him a heads up in case it was anyone there at the C&R. It could have been a different group. In a seperate incident DEEP were looking for two KTM riders on 2 strokes that were caught going very fast on one of the dirt roads but ran from the cops.
No one was accusing you just trying to keep our group in the good category.

Awe, they're cute when they're that size. The rich soil sure grows them big out in the woods.

I just didn't want people to think it was me.I wonder how they knew it was a 450 unless it had decals.
